Hey Ber,

Tell your students to keep an eye out for Cyril! We left him there at the quarry last weekend, in an obvious place. Some of the guys took photos, so we should see some of them later.....
I could not be sure, because I didn't talk to him but I think these two are related.

I hear that might be the case. As to where the photo came from, well....:54:

How many beers did Cyril have before he decided to stay in that cold water for the winter!? Don and I had invited him to come down to South Carolina for the winter! I hope that you guys are going to be visiting him to make sure he is ok!

Lisa,

He's there waiting for you and Don to 'rescue' him. Just have to rig for a dive in the cold water!
;)

Unfortunately,
Don's Scuba Gear is still down in Hilton Head and mine is in for its annual service. I think that our quarry diving is over until we come back in the spring. Hopefully, our cold water divers will check in on Cyril regularly. I hope he doesn't regret those beers!
Any thoughts of a non diving GLWC get together before the holidays

Well, looks like I'm postponed until next weekend. All but one student ended up with some sort of commitment or another and defected to the alternate date (Nov. 20/21). The one student who was left decided it would be more fun to dive with the other students there so that one moved to the alternate weekend also. Looks like I'm homebound this weekend--SIGH!

Too bad! I'll let Tim know that the walker was your idea tomorrow night, LOL! I might be up there next weekend if I don't have to work. My ear is just now recovering from last weekend.

On Saturday 11/20, I'm hoping to make it to "Beneath the Sea" over in Port Huron. But if my schedule works out, I will be at Gilboa on Sunday 11/21. One of the local dive shops is conducting an in-water Rescue Diver Course demo of sorts. Since that's the next class I'll be taking, I'm hoping to get some insight into how this shop's rescue course is conducted... and hopefully get in a dive or two while I'm there.
