even if it goes chapter 11, someone will buy and reorganize aqualung. it would be like saying chrysler will go away because they make ****** cars.

You mean they don't?

they're still around last i checked, still making that hideous looking old man sedan and minivans

For those that have worked with Deep6, will they build a "custom" set for you that includes a 1st stage with two 2nd stages using custom hose lengths like 5' and 22"?
Yes. The easiest way is here, Signature 'DIR' Single Tank Package, but it is only DIN. If you want yoke you can build your own by choosing the different pieces. They have all lengths of hoses, as well as various sized spgs, if you need one.

I just pulled the trigger on a Deep 6 signature series singles set, in DIN of course. Deep 6 is able to custom configure it with my specific hose lengths and routing as requested. Very nice customer service so far!

I went with an orange primary 2nd stage and a black necklaced alternate.

Looking forward to getting it wet on my next planned trip over to Palm Beach County next month.

For me, when the day comes to replace my regs, D6 and Scubapro are on that list but it’s a hard choice between looks and almost everywhere support(Scubapro) or a no-nonsense set of regs that people rave about, the option between DIY service or “depot” service to eliminate hack local techs, and better customer support(D6)? Orange ain’t my color, so that’s not a consideration.

Aahhh, but D6 is much more than orange Expedition 'Signature' Series - Second Stages - Regulators

Just bought a Sig series first and second stage for my SAD kit for a future trip to Malpelo.
