Add another 20 - 30% to what you really need.So going solo and based on my SAC, I probably only ever going to need a AL19 for rec diving.
The extra weight shouldn't be a factor because you'll not be using your pony at all 99% of the time, thus the weight is consistent, thus you'll be able to drop some lead, and as others have said here, you won't notice underwater in any case.
