Sure! We've had equally nice food, crew and dive guides on South Moon and Freedom VI, for example, both of which are "budget" liveaboards doing north routes. I think Emperor Divers offer a good product that's generally good value for money. I'm afraid I have no personal experience of BlueO2 and the Serpent fleet, but I have seen some of their boats and they seemed just fine at first glance.

I'm increasingly convinced that Red Sea liveaboards aimed at the German-speaking market (for instance the Seawolf fleet) are generally well-run, solid ops. Some aren't even bookable on liveaboard.com or travel.padi.com (google Omneia fleet, for example).
