I might be totally behind the curve on this one, and everyone might already be using this, but I just ran across it and thought this stuff would be great in a diver's tool kit.

I attended an event over the weekend (a gun show, no less) and a fellow had a booth set up demonstrating a type of glue I had not seen before. I watched him cut and re-bond a variety of materials and, quite literally, the bonds were near perfect in function and strength. I was amazed as he cut and and then glued a fan belt, an o-ring, latex rubber, metals, vinyl and...drum roll...neoprene! The amazing thing to me was that the bond was virtually instantaneous and much more "sure" than standard insta-glue.

I thought, "what a great product for a diver!" I can see using it to solve those "uh-oh moments" when a fin or mask strap breaks or there's a tear in the wetsuit, and it might be a way of fixing a blown seal on a drysuit. Since we've been talking about drysuits on the board quite a bit lately, I thought this was timely.
I asked whether it bonded silicone (such as mask skirts), but he didn't know that one and said he'd do some "research".

Just a thought. here's the link...
