After two and a half years of never ending jobs in Hawaii, it's now my turn to go to Iraq. I have to be in TX on the 15th of January. I will be back this summer. Home is AK but Kathy is here for a while so, so am I.
We shall see who is better here, the rookie road side bombers or me? Im betting me!
It's been great diving and chating with y'all. Meet some wonderful people here. I'll check in from time to time if I can.
Going home to AK for the holidays then back here for a couple of days, CA for a couple more then Im on my way!
Y'all be safe and blow a few bubbles for me this spring, huh?

Gonna try to sneek a couple in after Xmas break.....You need to know I guess that I want to go. Every time I have expected to go, something comes up here. Now it's my turn. The money is good but it's more than that... Hard to explain I guess. I fought long and hard to make it through one of the toughest school the US military has to offer and never really had a chance to use what I know. Finally I get my chance.

Wow, Wildcard. My BF is leaving after New Years. He has been twice before and now off to the Sunni Triangle near Fallujah (Haditha) to teach Urban Warfare to Iraqi fledgling army. So dangerous. He will be in Iraqi camps, etc. Been doing the body armor, scrapnel goggle, packing this week. He is the best man to go, this I know. Still, I am not happy. Proud, not happy.

I, for one, get goose bumps seeing the Iraqi turnout for the elections.

Maybe you will run into him over there. I would like Kathy's contact info. Best wishes and Godspeed!
