Hello everyone!
Need some advice ,
got the g250v-mk25,xtx 100 and xtx 200 for the same price.
For single tank diving.
Wonder about hose routing, reliability and performance.
Servicing is not an issue.

I do alot of diving below 100ft.

thanks in advance.

i would prefer the mk25-s600 for hose routing from the above choices

Hi Cerich,
is the fst or fsr that bad routing?

I do find the mk25 lower lp port usefull.

I only dive DIN, HOG is not available in Portugal .....i think.
read some good stuff about them.

not that bad, just a few more bends to the hoses.I like to route so hoses aren't bent and valves handles are not blocked.

If you ever dive in silty cold water < 4c go with apeks fsr if the priceis the same otherwise take what you like

Fst -100 has the hard seat built into the body so you have to be more caful with floods in salt water and if the tech screwes up you have to replace the whole body

I don't think I will ever dive that cold,
but if the apeks gives me the extra benefit of being sealed for cold water use...... that's ok.

I like the look of the fst ,seems robust.
wonder if there's any real world difference in performance in these regulators?

Nope, I was never able to feel any difference, they all top of the line and robust.

DS-4 + XTX50 is as good as those suggested.
The FSR has the advantage of the replaceable valve seat.
Keep a close eye on the colour of the brass conical filter(AP1472). Good indication of carelessness in keeping sea water out.
