Just to add some of my pics from "The Office" ... taken with the camera Uncle Pug sold me ... and he was my dive buddy for most of 'em ... :D

BTW Uncle Pug ... I just yesterday received a beautiful 16 x 20 print of "Wendy" for ya ... better buy a nice frame, buddy ... :D

Nice pics Bob, I love the bottle-dwelling gunnels.

I like the hermits too, I've seen some wild hermit fights over shells in the flat between the I-beams and olive's den.

Super! Hopefully I will be able to hook up with you next week.

Thanks for adding those great pictures to the thread too.

<-- Biased by the beauty of the grunt sculpin. That's one of the best grunt shots I've seen in awhile Snowbear

Snowbear:
Anyone else noticing the similarities in the content of the pics being posted :D

What like the color or diversity of life? Overrated perhaps, I'm really starting to see the beauty of these GL waters :D

Photo by Rob Polich on the Schooner Grace Shannon, linked without permission from Bill Prince, Milwaukee charter captain extraordinaire.

Notice the subtle tones of brown between the zebra mussels and the silt. Beauty might not be our strong suit but the maritime history here is quite interesting. LOL

Thanks CD

But I did not intend to detract from the gushing or the quality photo representation by the locals who actually live there. One lucky shot is far outweighed by the many, many dives and awesome photos taken by Pug, NWGratefulBob (who spotted the little Grunt for me BTW ;)) and the many other Orca Baiters on ScubaBoard...

As for the Great Lakes, I actually did really enjoy diving a couple of the wrecks while I was there a couple years ago. It will probably never happen, but I've thought it would be cool to someday spend a few weeks touring the Lakes and diving as many of the wrecks as possible.

NWGD knows me well enough that I hope he'll see I'm being flippant, by no means an official judge. :devil_2:

And UP takes some of the best pictures I've ever seen, couldn't let him get a big head.

I just have to keep popping in and drooling over the pictures, counting the days until I can dive Seacrest again :hmmm:

All of the photos are quite breathtaking, :jealous:

Uncle Pug,
Thanks for the report and Photos. I will be visiting WA from Los Angeles and diving this site Thursday night 16 Feb 06 with WAdiverBob and others. Sorry to hear you are out sick.

Melvin... I might have to just get well quicker than I had planned so I could join you. Actually I had hope to go diving with NWGD on Wednesday but I am still stuffed up so it doesn't look like that will happen. Hope you have a wonderful dive.

Turns out I have a class on Wednesday ... get well by Thursday and join us ... ;)
