Do I wait it out for 24 hours?

Pull the battery?

The reset procedure can't be used because it behaves as if I'm on a dive. I will pull the battery. Another identical computer also logged a 5' dive during the flight but then turned itself off.

I always thought they had to be wet to turn themselves on and start a dive?

Pulled battery. All good. Still baffled as to why it turned on in flight.
