Affects of pot with scubadiving?

i dove with a pot smoker once, during my rescue course of all things. I will never do it again. It was obvious underwater that his judgement was impared, and he had the "i really don't care" attitude. I'd say it is dangerous to dive with someone who is affected this way. It's putting yourself in danger.

Well, since I'm out of the US and won't get arrested.....I did smoke a few times in the Philippines and did really shallow dives (less than 20 feet). It was awesome....all the bright colors, the sunshine glittering on the white sand bottom, and just being under water. I used to smoke before surfing a lot too. But that was long ago.
