Hi guys,
I just sent my Atmos AI back for service and repair. It wouldn't stop displaying H2O on the display in spite of being soaked with vinegar and water and being dried off.
Also, the back light feature had stopped working and it wouldn't go into demo mode when I would first turn it on before the dive. It would however, register depth and tank pressure once at depth. I had a fresh battery in it, too.
I have owned this computer for about 5 yrs. and this is first time I've had any trouble with it at all.

Is the Aeris computer repair/service dept. fairly prompt in turnaround time in your experiences? It got there yesterday at Aeris HQ according to the tracking on USPS.

I guess I should call on Monday to make sure it has been logged into their service dept.

Thanks for any reviews you might have with them.

American Underwater Products: Aeris, Hollis, Oceanic. I have had superlative service for my Oceanic computers since 1999. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I had my Oceanic Atom 2.0 serviced a while back and remember a quick turnaround time. Less than 2 weeks I believe. In fact, if you read carefully somewhere along the way they disclose that you probably (almost assuredly) won't be getting the same computer back that you submitted to them. To expedite their service they will instead give you an already refurbished, repaired, and tested version of the same model.

That's nice to know about getting a virtually new computer. It's nice to know they are under the Oceanic umbrella. Great outfit from what I hear.
