I recently bought a Nihon Aqualung KK SeaFrontier 7J as posted in the regulator forum:
Nihon USD Sea Frontier 71
I cannot work out how to remove the adjustment knob pin. It's a very small diameter piece of metal cylindrical in shape but serrated, there is no hex or screwdiver head to it.
It looks like this:
Any ideas would be appreciated, I've tried to push it out but it isn't budging. It actually looks like it's no supposed to come out but that would make servicing all but impossible, very odd. No idea why they didn't use a "normal" pin, it looks cowboy. It's too small to take a photo of but hopefully my bad drawing gives a clear enough idea. Looks like they found a piece of metal on the shop floor and just jammed it in. Cheers.
