Hey Everybody,
I will need to do scuba based research as part of my dissertation and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get AAUS training and certification as a scientific diver in Connecticut? Thanks!

Where are you going to school now?

Try This. And AAUS does not certify.

Thanks a lot for the link! I just sent an email. Certification was poor wording on my part... I need to complete the course in order to dive with several of my collaborators early next year and could not think of what else to say. I am at Yale and it appears we do not have a DSO here or pop up on the AAUS website.

I did my AAUS scientific diver in Connecticut . PM me and I will give you contact info for an upcoming class starting in a few weeks (Sept. 4)

If the Connecticut course does not work out for you, PM me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

AAUS... Just learned something today :D This looks quite extensive learning and very close to the approach CMAS has in Europe. I found many similiarities ! I should have known earlier and check i out earlier !
