Ok, So i need to find a building surveyor. I am looking to buy a concrete and wood house which has recently been built here on Roatan.

If you are a qualified building surveyor and would be able to come down to Roatan in the next two months, I will pay for you and one other persons' diving at Coconut Tree for one week.

Someone has just replied saying do i mean inspector. In the UK we call them Chartered Surveyors, so it is the equivalent of that whom i am looking for!

Make sure he's familiar with construction in the tropics. A lot of methods are absolutely unfamiliar and some would leave a Yankee baffled. Then there's the need for a familiarity with the afflictions, affectations, critters and general vermin that we accept as an everyday occurance.

D.V. Woods might "need" SCUBA lessons ? Might want to ask him.
