There is some confusion appearing on internet dive lists which has
us concerned . Fifth dimension dive store in Issaquah,WA (Seattle)
was purchased by Pacific Rim Aquatics, LLC (Mark Tourtellot) in
March of 2005. The store is no longer associated with Andrew
Georgitsis or his training company, 5th D-X. The store is one of the
largest dealers for Halcyon products and Gavin scooters, and it fully
supports GUE and its training cirriculum. Our GUE class schedule for
September 2005 includes:

GUE Fundamentals - 16-19 - Steve White
GUE Tech 2 - Sept. 16-21 - Jarrod Jablonski
GUE Triox - Sept. 30 - Oct. 3 - Bob Sherwood

Lamont, I read that earlier tonight. Thanks for posting it here. Timely and on point.

Just kind of a bottom line thought on training. I took Cave I from JJ and Ted Cole long before DIRF existed. A couple years ago I brought a DIRF class to Santa Rosa New Mexico and Andrew, Sonya and MHK taught that one.

If Andrew taught a class called DIW I'd still take it from him :) He's not going to go downhill now that he's not part of GUE -- he's an excellent instructor.

Took a tek I gue with Andrew in 2003...it was excellant. I 'learned' what bouancy control is. He could 'hover' at any depth, I think he could sleep and maintain bouancy.

I've seen Uncle Pug do that a few times .... :D

Just wondering: does anyone know who the current GUE Tech 2 instructors are? In this country I know JJ is one...

So, anyone know who teaches Tech 2 in this country? I hear Gideon Liew might do it now. And JJ. Any others?

Gideon Liew does.
