The only ones I've heard definates from was Raxafarian and you. I know MSilvia and I both have flags, that should cover up to 8 people [2 groups of 4]... It doesn't hurt to have your own, but it might not be necessary...

And if you want practice manning a flag before you buy... _no problem_ you can be in my group!

I'll bring a flag also... that way Matthew can take 2 flags on each dive and learn twice as fast

I learned an extremely important lesson last night... _NEVER_ leave the camera behind. screw task loading... "Woah... what's that sea monster? <swim up over rock> Woah... cool... my first Ocean Pout! <reaching to side ring> Damn it... no camera!!!

I saw my first Ocean Pout, and I saw about 1/2 dozen torpedo rays [that would be my first through 6th of those ] But of course, I have no proof.... *sigh*

Yea... don't worry... I am always prepared to collect blackmail material!

Iv'e never seen more than one at a time never any together!!
I have seen some real big ones too. Hope you didn't try poking
them for that chart your making hehe. They will give you a good electric zap!!

Nahh... I didn't bring my slate to record the defensive reactions, I also try to limit my research to times that I have a rescue-certified buddy!

In all serious however, one of them I almost didn't see as I was trying to find a place to stuff the flag spool while I went after a bug...

Pebble Beach yesterday evening... fairly low tide and about 20 fsw.
