the flash flood level chances have lowered for much of the High Springs area.
At this point I'm expecting a lotta wind at my house. Flooding is not an issue at my house as we sit above the river by about 25 yards.

Trees and tree limbs getting blown down is my biggest fear, other than the hangover tomorrow.

Ventusky is an app I use that was designed for pilots. It projects it hitting between Perry and Mayo shortly after 8:00 am. I'll make a decision in the am to see if I need to scoot. I'm the orange dot.

Scoot here-Bring Beer. Lots of room.

Tampa would've been much nicer.
Meh. There's a reason I don't live there, or Orlando anymore.

The hyper drama queen meteorologists are mad that they now have to go stay in the panhandle to do live shots. Tampa would've been much nicer.

We had a couple of groups of smear merchants (reporters) stay at our place during Ian. They didn't complain about the lack of power, internet, laundry, etc. Were happy with the basic hot breakfast we were able to make with a hot plate and toaster oven.

They were among the best guests we had all year.

Intermediate advisory no major changes. Max winds are 105mph or 91kts, almost category 3. It is roughly even with Tampa Bay, still looks to be on track to arrive early tomorrow morning.
