Apparently it came ashore at Keaton Beach, which is on the southern end of the model runs from last night. It had with 125mph winds, which made it a strong cat 3 with the hurricane force winds extended approximately 25 miles from the center of the storm.

Skipping the models because they are too old by the time that they are run.

Lights just flickered. Glad I had UPSes on my DSL modem and wifi. I also have it on my TV. It's still kind of weird to see the lights flicker and not lose signal. :D :D :D I'm glad I did that. :D

They're telling me to wear a helmet now.

I've been doing that since I moved to Florida, all those little power flickers are horrible for the equipment.

1 cat out of 5 has the good sense to stay inside.

The other four have lives to spare.

Stay safe.

Power and main internet went out @ 7:00 am. One tree down and the storm is now north of me.

Hopefully the river follows that graph.

If it does that puts it at about the parking lot at Ginnie. Which is hardly the worst we've seen it.

I am looking at the SRWMD website, they are forecasting a 5ft rise for the Santa Fe and a 8-9ft rise for the Suwannee. The numbers seem to be just at flood stage, but not dramatically higher. But I have no reference about how much damage that would cause.

Power out at 0630. Minimal damage. Trees down/limbs down. Still blustery/windy.
Generators running.

I don't think the Ginnie Parking lot goes under at that 43.7

Here is the historical data, the river was 44.6 back on 8/5
