Last relevant update, it is back to a tropical storm again but the TS level winds are largely gone from Florida. Now to see where the rivers crest and how long it takes to restore powers.

FPL is reporting that they will be getting most of the power restored to Suwannee and Columbia county by tomorrow evening.

I just pulled this off of the SVEC website...

Suwannee County, FL
24,408 outages reported
(98.6% of Total Accounts - 24,761)
as of Aug. 31, 2023, 1:40 p.m.

I feel lucky to have my power restored after only 32 hours. It helps that Danny across the street works for SVEC. If I don't have power, he don't have power.

Woot. Headed to Ginnie for the weekend.. Bringing the dive gear....

It might not be diveable, but I've got room for you here. It's a bit messy with my back and all.

Thanks Pete for the offer. GSO says they are open to diving. Going with a group of peeps who have a site on the hill. I'll bring gear, just in case.

You're welcome anytime. Hopefully, they don't flood out. Reports are that the Santa Fe is rising fast with this hurricane.
