8/12/07 anyone diving tomorrow?

I want to dive tomorrow, but where is everyone? I'm near Orlando, so it's a drive for me.

Manda, her hubby, and sister are doing Hospital Hole. Other than that, I don't know where people are diving.

I know this has nothing to do with your thread but it was so funny, I was reading your thread here and the boys said OH mom let us see the barbie doll lady :blinking: so I said ok I click on your profile this is soo funny the boys said OH NO it's him again he's always with her. Mom where's the picture that has just her in it and not her boyfriend. this is coming from a 10 year old and an 8 year old. You know Johnny if they were older you would be in alot of trouble I think, they would be sending her flowers everyday.:blinking:

I'll be really curious to see what Manda has to say. I believe the last report on HH was that sadly it was full of trash :sad: So I am wondering if it has gotten cleaned up or what the status of it is.

Sorry guys didn't get to go sunday, but we were there last thursday.It was high tide and we had a halocline at 12 feet, and about 10 feet of vis at 75 feet,we still had daylight but our lights were usefull to see all of the graffiti, solution tubes, and cracks in the walls.There wasn't much for marine life,but I have heard some days are good .We must have been on a bad day,only my first dive there so we did not explore below the cloud of rotten eggs :11doh:, we stayed just above it. Yeah, I have heard there is a john boat,and other things that have been tossed in there, kinda curious about what could be down there. Best thing is it's FREE .

The rotten egg smell is hydrogen sulfide, :death2:HIGHLY TOXIC:death2:. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_sulfide#Toxicity ) It will leach through your skin and get into your system even without breathing it directly. If you can smell or taste it on scuba, it's time to get out of the water!
