Thanks, e! I keep hearing how this machine is supposed to be so stress-free on the joints etc and when I struggle so with it I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. I have the same problem with riding bikes, too.

i dont find it stresses my body (except for the getting physical bit) but i will warn that it does make a difference if you are tall (like i am) or vertically challanged as the spacing for the feet and arms are important

lately ive been managing 10mins then short break then another 10mins

That could be part of it maybe...I'm only 5'6". Hubby is about 6' and he doesn't have any problems - though he doesn't feel it when he rides a bike either. I'll just keep going and see if it gets any better, otherwise I'll go back to just walking and the ol' treadie. The beach is more interesting anyway!

ive been told that the e-machine had a 30 day warranty only! (i dont remember this)

but they did ask me to send a pic so i will do this and see what happens

I hit the gym again today, 30 minutes on the e-machine and more ab work!

Almity, sorry to hear about your emachine. That is a bummer and I hope you can get it either replaced or fixed. I know you loved that thing.
As for me, my e-machine is collecting dust. I don't like it either as it hurts my knees too. I would rather walk or (gasp) watch Richard Simmons than use the emachine!

Dirty Little secrets.....Richard simmons work out tape in Cheddar's house...
It is collecting dust though. Workout done..6 miles on the bike and small weight lifting finished. Now where is that Twinkie!!!

I ate Taco Bell last night!

Here's my Taco Bell excuse... I was at work last night, when Rod called and told me that Jonathan cut his hand and needed stitches. Sooo... I wound up sitting in a room with them, on the clock, half being a mom, and half taking care of him (medically speaking). LOL He only got 2 stitches, but it was a nice cut... about a 1/2 inch long, maybe 1/4 inch deep (or a tad deeper)... and gaping... fat and fascia showing. The perk was... I told the PA when they got there, and Angela came and numbed him up and sewed him up... in and out in less than an hour! WooooHooo! LOL Jonathan did very well... never pulled away from the needle, never even twitched, and hardly said "ouch"... but he did get awfully pale, and nauseated! Hahaaaa! With that weak of a stomach, he can't possibly be MY kid... can he??

I vow to eat healthy today.
