saturday i did a bubblemakers in the pool with the kids and sunday i went diving :yeahbaby:

this morning i had 6.15am cardio and we didnt stop once! omg.... def got the heart rate going!
 
Very nice photos Roy. The closest exercise I did this weekend was to watch the film "Run Fat Boy" which was pretty hilarious. And oddly inspirational.

:) I really need to get my backside back into the gym.
 
Hiya all! :happywave: Long time since I've posted here. Been exercising like crazy. Ran a total of 10 miles this week, and am looking at that much or more next. Slowly building up to run the 1/2 marathon in January. Unfortunately, sounds like Roy and I are in the same boat. Been running for months yet have lost 0 lbs since I don't know when! Went to the Dr., and some of the medication I am on is a notorious weight gainer! UG. Got my thyroid ultrasound'd and am having blood work this week. I almost hope it is my thyroid just so there is hope. I can't believe I haven't dropped a dang gone pound.
For those that were rooting for me when I was losing all that weight, most of it is back on and refuses to leave. UG.
You would think somebody that is running, biking, swimming, for months that they would at least lose inches. Not me. In fact my clothes are tighter than they were this spring.

Good luck to all who are working out so well and making progress. You are our (mine) inspiration.
 
With summer coming up here Down Under - I've been working hard these past few weeks to get into shape.

Did a 1.2km swim on Sunday and a 3km walk yesterday and today. My personal trainer is on holiday so I have to keep myself motivated. Looking forward to when she gets back and I've booked 3 sessions a week with her to get myself into shape.

So far in last 3 months have lost 10kg and a total of 20cm from around the body.
 
I'm not finished yet. Just did a 50 minute exercise and tomorrow going to give my body a rest.
 
Range between 2 and 4 pounds short of weight goal.... Aerobic athletic performance up 50% for short distances and 25% for long distances. Slacked off on weight for individual reps by 10% and increased number of reps by same.

If I could just lose that last few pounds I'd be in hog heaven.

So, we've all got to reach inside for the strength to rise to each of our challenges.

Well, I did it! I ran 4 miles yesterday. It was a rough start. I put some arch supports in my shoes, and at the mile mark, I took them out they were hurting my feet so bad. Struggled through another mile and a half then within a minute everyting seems to click together and my stride became easy and longer. My breathing became steady and my body movements started to flow instead of acting like an 80 yr old, creaking by. I finished the run feeling much better than at the start and after a few minutes of cool down was rejuvenated enough to want to run more. But I know better and went home instead.
this morning, getting out of bed, I expected the worst. Wow! No real aches and pains! Whoo hoo! Today is my strength and stretch day, so I walked the dog around the block while carrying a 10lb dumbell doing arm lifts and stuff. Getting home, I did some more stretching and core strengthing. I feel good!
 
ScubaJenny - that's awesome!!! Glad to hear you're having some really excellent days!

I took the doggies for a walk on the beach yesterday as well as doing all my errands on foot. No photos this time...don't know why, had the camera at the beach and it was a gorgeous afternoon. Next time!

i didnt do anything yesterday but this morning was 6.15am session with resistance bands :bounce2:
