Well, Alcina, this is my dog's idea of exercise:



Beautiful dog! And Dora especially relates to that! Though she's getting more and more active when we are actually OUT, which is good.

We did a great beach romp this morning - were out for over an hour. The Girls really burned off some energy!

I only walked about 45/50 minutes of that as I stopped and chatted with some friends while our dogs played around.

Why are you limited to 10 minutes/day?
 
so I can walk her cul de sac and the one next to it and that's it. I could do it 3 times... but... well... er...

I just sat on the couch and had a Coke with lunch coz I didn't have any water cold. How pathetic is that...and it's so not my first coke of the day. I need to cut back on that stuff again, but I love that BURN, Baby!

Chin up, Girl...we're at least doing something and that's far better than nothing at all, so we need to congratulate ourselves for just doing what we do!
 
If I congratulate myself for what I've been doing I'm going to do so in a way that is in keeping with my dedication so far... with a bowl of ice cream- lol!

Anyway- thanks for the pep talk. I keep telling myself to do sit ups and some waist exercises but I keep not doing that.

The 10 minute walk and the cutting back on portions etc IS more than I've done in quite some time.

:multi: im still around...just been a massive few weeks - i think i only had 3 posts yesterday!

ive been exercising and soon to start an extra session per week thanks to the bosses paying for a work getfit idea i pushed - yippee!!!
 
Okay, today is a no walk day- its snowing and the ground is snow covered... I did do 50 leg lifts to the right, 50 leg lifts to the left, 50 squats, 50 sit ups, 15 push ups (girl-style), 10 arm dips (triceps), 50 situps, 15 right side situps (it's an abs of steel thing), 15 left side situps...

I might do more pushups and triceps in a bit, but I was interrupted and someone is here now.
 
Haven't posted here in a while, however I thought I'd pop in to say Hi. Today's work out was a 5k. Took 4 minutes off the time from a month ago. Whoo hoo! Next 5k is April 3, though it is not timed.
Then when I got home, I mowed the lawn. Nice n easy, took my time, and got a decent work out. Now I am going to take a nap! :)
