Hiya all! :happywave:
Haven't been here in a while, but thought I would pop in.
I jogged about 3 miles today! Haven't done that in a very long time! Got a 5K to run in a couple weeks, and am a long way away from being ready. Took it slow and easy, just to finish. Now I know I can do the 5K!
Can I go to bed now?? :D
 
I did an hour of Tae Bo today. But before that, I went through my scuba gear. It felt good to hold the hoses, and smell the fresh new gear(instead of the 'new car' air freshener, they should make a 'new gear' scent, lol). I can't wait to use my first new set of gear! That revved me up for a great workout! I am getting pretty psyched for Coz!:lotsalove:
 
Hi all
Haven't been on here in awhile been kind of busy. Ok haven't been to faithful but I'm still active. Had a long weekend so I went snow boarding 2 days. Was alone yesterday and it was a work day so it was down the mountian and no line at the lift so it was back up again LOL I thought I was going to fall over with exhaustion by my last run of the day.
I need to figure something out. I'm up at 04:15 every morning at work by 06:00 to 17:00 then not home again until 19:00. Not much time for fitness. I'm military so I may be able to talk my way into taking "extended" lunch for fitness sake LOL I can only try. I miss the fitness level I had when I worked out 3 hours a day. It was work but worth it
 
Still feeling crappy but I got in six dives in the last three days, so it wasn't all bad!

of course, i havent had to get out of my chair for about an hour now ;)
 
Thanks, Almity...it's a flounder yawning...which seems to be how all of my other shots that I've put up so far have been received! Resounding silence over in the uw photo area lol

Went for a 30 minute beach walk yesterday evening and a 15 minute walk earlier in the day.

Just not quite where I need to be for motivation and commitment at the moment...need to get my act together.

I have been doing really good abooot keeping up with the exercising whilst on vacation. It's better if you keep your mind set towards it every day. Once you slip out, it's terribly hard to get back into the routine.

However, the dreaded TimTams are doing me in, Mrs. A and Alcina will know what I'm talking aboooot. Man, they are GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.
 
LOL actually, I hate TimTams...think they have a funky flavour and a nasty aftertaste ;) That's one good thing about living here, though - no fast food in our town and I hate the taste of Australian chocolate!

If I could get rid of this nasty chest/head cold thing I'd be a lot more interested in getting out and about, I think. It just sucks when suddenly it's hard to breath and you feel like you're hacking up a lung!

and dont forget cadburys!!! (and you are in tassie so the cadbury factory is nearby!)

and ignore Alcina... she still part american so thats why she cant appreciate GREAT chocolate :D
