I can say that I won't be adding to my t-shirt collection from the Point Bar. I will leave that to people with stronger stomachs than mine. However, I have met up with one of the chaps who has a plaque on the wall...and he's the only one with a photo on the wall...

i will assume at this point, cabbie, that you're having a blast - dive safe and have fun!

nope Larry is not here...that I know of !

Don't know why we were worrying about 3mm vs 5mm...there's a chap here diving in a dry suit...temperature yesterday was down to 25C and I would gladly have worn it myself :)

yes, scubapro but I think there may just be a bit too much flesh on show if I take the vest off without something underneath it...
this post needs pics... :p

Me too, back in 2005 um 1995, sorry:cool2:

There's also a pair of shorts for drinking, um, shorts.

I have earned and given away over 100 t-shirts in my time. When we last moved house, my wife told me that 142 shirts from one bar was getting a bit silly. She really doesn't get The Point, does she?

Checked with the wife, apparently she packed up 160 Point Bar Shooter shirts and donated them to charity. She allowed me to keep the 25 or so that were still in the cellophane.

So you met up with Dave Sampson? It was once alleged that a certain person who shall remain nameless burned great chunks of his stupid frizzy hair off with a lit Cohiba without him noticing.

Like all great stories, it deserves to be told over a beer in the exact same place it (allegedly) took place.

Larry - indeed it is he. Didn't know he was going to be here at the same time. We dived his 750th dive a couple of days ago which ended on one of the floating bars in Sabang bay. A very nice finish.

So where's the beer to be drunk ?

Mike - no photos of the Point Bar. Only fish. However, it is New Year's Eve tomorrow...

Are you guys trying to break the record of 2 years ago?? Good luck! ;p
