so is Garcia still eligible for the NFL Draft?

Wonder how he'll fare? My guess is even if he's eligible, that most NFL teams don't want to pay big money for a "train wreck"

or does he have to "walk on" ? dunno? :dontknow:

:hmmm: A 'pretty good' QB on a team that's not won a championship or even a conference title? A QB with a bad attitude, disrespectful of authority and a drinking problem?

:dontknow: who would want him?

Saban giving Bama quarterback AJ McCarron some "helpful advice" during the game.

No need for sound.... what he's saying is pretty easy to read on his lip.....

Question:

If the top 4 are currently (1) Alabama, (2) LSU, (3) OU, (4) OSU and 1&2 must play each other and 3&4 must play each other, does the loss drive the loser further down in the polls or does it just reaffirm the order of 1, 2, 3, 4?

The obvious answer is an emphatic "Yes!" One of those things will happen to the losers depending on the outcome of the games. :D

By OSU, I assume you mean Oklahoma State U? Right now AP Top 25 has them at #6. FYI. Not #4. BCS isn't out yet.

A loss by one of these would in my opinion drop the above teams with a loss to somewhere between #9 and #12 (based on the current poll). Possibly as high as #6 (if they were to "play today).

The sad thing about this is that they will drop behind Boise State, which the only ranked team they have on their schedule right now is #19 Georgia. They don't play anyone else that is currently ranked, but yet they'll cry like babies that they should play for the BCS title or some other big name bowl, when better teams, like whoever loses AL vs LSU and play tough SEC schedules get looked down upon by the Boise crybabies...

My guess is the BCS Championship is going to be whoever wins the LSU v Alabama game and Oklahoma.

This is my reason for asking the question. I think you and Pete are both correct, but I don't think it is right. IMO there is not enough weighting given to the quality/ranking of the victor before downgrading the loser. I'm not making excuses for UF, they played horribly, but if you play and lose to the #1 team this week, then play and lose to the #2 team next week, do you really deserve to be exiled from the top 25? If Boise continues to play junior college teams, goes undefeated, do they truly deserve to rise in the polls?

(the eternal football poll vs play-off debate continues. that's what helps power the enthusiasm)

Yes he's eligible(actually anyone in the world is?)----but who would want to take a chance on that??........He'll get asked to a camp or something & get an undrafted free agenct contract(if he's good enuff) .....see link...

Half time score doesn't show it, but; the VOLS are giving the Tigers a fight.
I hope we can hang in there and make it respectable. Them youngsters are gonna be a handful in a couple years! ;)
