I was just given a SP DIN retainer, the older style, no wheel, just the bolt. The part # looks to be 10-043-030. It looks exactly like the chewed up one I'm trying to replace, only it's about 1/4" shorter. I'm assuming that this is a 200 bar fitting, correct? I've never seen one before.

Anyhow, I'm still in search of the 300 bar retainer, so if anyone is looking for a 200 bar retainer, I'd be happy to trade. This one appears to be NOS.

Or you could grind a couple threads off a 300 bar wheel. Like they said at Mc-D's "Parts is parts - ....".

We may have to take a close look at the threaded end to see which body(s) it is designed to fit.

The bag that it came in says MK2 and something else I can't make out.

This would be perfect for a DIN MK2 pony/stage reg with a 200 bar valve, only you'd need the 200 bar wheel.

I have several of the 300 bar retainers - just not the little piece that screws inside and both holds the o-ring and retains the filter.

My 232 bar DIN measure 17mm/.67inch from the base where the hex nut is to the tip of the retainer, (not the smaller filter retainer) and has, of course, 5 threads. It's 20mm/.79inch all the way to the tip of the filter retainer.

While we're on the subject, is the Trident A194 DIN converter any good?

Unfortunately, those are the pieces I need, I also have one of the 300 bar newer style retainers. SP won't sell just the filter retainer, at least not in the U.S. I was hoping to sidestep the issue by getting one of the older style retainers that is just one piece; the filter fits in the end by the reg body. I did get one, only it's the wrong size. Thanks for the offer though!

As an alternative, I could look for a 5-thread (200bar) wheel.
