The Auburn game was a great game, and I agree there were questionable calls, but LSU had their chance at the end and couldn't pull it out. It was by far the best game of the season so far. I think Auburn might actually get their chance at the championship game this year. I'm a Bama fan, (I think the only on this board), but until Auburn plays Bama I'll be pulling for Auburn. ROLLLLL TIDE!

New AP Pool rankings out. (week 4)

Auburn up to #2 from #3
LSU drops from #6 to #10
Florida moves up two spots to #5
Georgia moves up one spot to #9
Tennessee drops two spots to #15
Clemson moves into spot #19 from being out of the Top 25 last week.

You alabama boys are getting a bit ahead of yourselves. Before you go to any National championship you are going to have to go through UGA, and incase you hadn't noticed, the Dawgs have posted 2 straight shutouts (one against Steve Spurrier and another against a UAB that nearly upset Oklahoma the week before).

The Auburn vs. Georgia game is always my favorite game of the year.

With that said, historically that game seems to be always won by the visiting team each year.... this year that'll be Georgia. So if tradition follows history, I'm afraid that the Tigers will loose to the Dawgs.

While it's still way early in the year, I wouldn't be surprised to see the SEC Championship be a re-match between Georgia and Auburn.

BTW... the UAB against Oklahoma game really surprised me. That would have been almost as good as Vandy beating Tennessee (which almost happened last year).

Since we are covering the SEC, I figure I'd let you know that those of us from Mississippi State have decided to pull out of the SEC/ NCAA and petition to join a 6A high school schedule. We will not schedule Hoover.

I love the Georgia-Auburn game... except when we lose! :) But yeah it's always a great game... and your right I wouldn't be surprised to see a Auburn-Georgia rematch for the title game.

that's too funny...

I really think Hoover would kick some college teams butts.

GO GATORS
The UF VOLS game was way to close for me. There seem to be a lot of Auburn fans here I am looking forward to moving the WAR EAGLES down the polls.

so was the Alabama game worth watching?

It came on prime-time in pay-per-view but it came on again at 11pm and I TIVO'd it. Haven't watched it yet.

If you are a true Bama fan then it's worth watching, but It wasn't a great game. Although with Tivo you could skip the boring parts.
