That is very sage advice. I agree 100% This is the first time that I've used Orbitz, so the jury is still out. I'm a pretty cheap bastard, and usually get great deals by doing everything a la' carte(sp?), but I couldn't get anywhere close, especially when using the code to save...

I did receive an e-mail from Orbitz that informed us about the flight changes.

If you booked a Coz trip this summer with Orbitz, (including air) - read this post

We booked a trip back in March for an August trip. We're flying out of BWI, thru DFW, on American Airlines. The flights were changed, (no biggie), just 1/2hr difference on a couple of legs. The concern was that our seat assignments were updated on Orbitz, but AA had no record of them...

    Cozumel in August!!!

8 of us will be staying at the Wyndham Sabor, from 8/29 thru 9/5. Only 2 of us are divers. We haven't selected a dive-op yet, though I am leaning towards Scuba with Alison.

Thank you very much for the review! We're headed to the Sabor in late August!!

    Dealing with Downcurrents

Yes it does have me re-thinking Nitrox, for the 1st dive of the day. Truthfully, given the cost, I'd only opt for nitrox if I was doing 3 dives in a day, and would only use it on the third dive....

Please tell me about Coz in late August/early September

Thanks everyone! We've visited, and dove, Coz twice, (as POD people;)), and were impressed enough to want to return to stay for a week. We've actually eaten at La Choza, (at the advice of Chellie, owner of Eagle Ray Divers), and had a very enjoyable meal. I'm looking forward to checking...

Please tell me about Coz in late August/early September

We'll be on the island from 8/29 thru 9/5 and staying at the Wyndham Sabor. We're a group of six. Two of us are divers. I know that it'll be hot, hot, hot and muggy, and the water will be like bath water, but that's ok...we've been to many places in the Caribbean in the summer, so we know...

Sabor Wyndham Cozumel - anyone stayed there lately - opinions?

Just booked the Sabor, for $766.00pp on Orbitz. That includes airfare, hotel, taxes and fees out of Baltimore. That's just too good of a deal to pass up. We've stayed at AI's in the Caribbean and Mexico before, so we definitely have realistic expectations. OK food, ok drinks & ok...

Sabor Wyndham Cozumel - anyone stayed there lately - opinions?

Thanks for the advice. I just checked the Orbitz web-site, for our travel dates, 8-29 thru 09-05 using the coupon and it rings it at $702.00 pp! And that's including the airport/transportation. It looks like Orbitz is the way to go! Have either of you ever used Orbitz? If so, how...

Sabor Wyndham Cozumel - anyone stayed there lately - opinions?

Thank you very much!! I was under the impression that the rooms and grounds were nicer, at the Sabor. That is based, however, on what I've read on Trip Advisor, yahoo, etc.

Sabor Wyndham Cozumel - anyone stayed there lately - opinions?

We're seriously considering staying here in late August. There will be 6-8 of us, but only 2 divers. We have to have an AI, due to the non-divers. We'll be booking the dives on our own. I found pricing of $1,170.00 pp for a week. That includes airfare out of BWI, transfers to and from the...

Taking my reg/computer setup on cruise

Exactly!! I do the same thing. The only thing I use from the dive-op is lead and air, (and the boat!!!!) A blown inflator hose on a rental rig, just prior to descending on a second dive, convinced me of that.

    Flathead or Ds-v

I have the DS V and it's a very easy-breathing reg. The deepest that I dove it was 112' and it breathed just as easy at that depth as it did at 15' You can't go wrong with Zeagle.

    Bermuda..Where to Stay and Dive?

I'll be doing a few dives, this week, with Dive Bermuda, at the suggestion of a couple of SB posters. Shoot me a PM reminder, after next week, and I'll tell what I think...

Cayman East End in Late October?

You can't go wrong, with OF. It is a class operation all the way. I dove with them, last August, and will be diving with them again next June. We stayed at the Morritt's, and it was very nice. Good luck!
