I got a replacement housing from Scott (BluewaterPhoto). They sent it to RecSea, but so far don't have any comments from the manufacturer on what may have been the cause. I know I'll be checking the lens barrel frequently to make sure it's not getting loose!

It's interesting that you asked about what attachment lens I am using - I didn't think about this as a factor, but you may be right. I am using Dyron fish-eye lens which is rather heavy. And it doesn't have bayonet adapter, which means longer time getting it screwed on and off, and perhaps this...

I got a new Dyron fisheye lens and am worried that I may loose it underwater when attaching/switching to another lens. Is there such thing as a lens strap? And if yes - do you make it yourself? Adjust some other strap? Any tips on it not getting in the picture? Any advise will be appreciated.

Nemrod, I think I wasn't very clear - the cap is not on the lense, but on the RecSea S95 housing, I think this is what you called "is a replacement protective port cap" - it slips on and doesn't have a threaded mount. That's the thing that I am trying to figure out what I can put on instead...
