First trip to Belize, only 3 days to dive, staying at Ramon's. Would appreciate suggestions re:dive ops, sites, dining, etc. Also keeping skeeters at bay!

For variety of fish, coral, health of reefs, pretty stuff, etc. (not as to the "adventure value") how would you compare Belize to Bonaire? Have been to Bonaire, considering Belize. Thanks.

Thanks Steve! Do most of the dive boats go out of Honokohau or the small boat harbor in Kona? We are staying at the Mauna Lani and while we will drive to get to the best spots if necessary, it is good to know what is close by for those days we will have limited time. There will be at least one...

Thank you for the feedback. Also looking for great fish tacos and sushi...fast, casual, the kind of place I can throw on a coverup and go right after diving.

We are two experienced divers but this is our first time diving Kona. So glad to leave our drysuits behind!!! We hope to dive 5 days and plan on one night dive (mantas). Would appreciate any input. Are there any small boats with shade run by reputable operators? Who are your favorable operators...

Went out with Fathom Five last November on multiple days because we were so happy with them.

Husband did this dive last fall and is still talking about it as one of his favorite dives ever....same place, same great crew. Amazing vis and marine life. George is a hoot! He was going to open another dive operation on Maui but apparently not the right timing.

Following up on my earlier post...thanks for the suggestions! 9 dives in Maui, September 8-13. First dive (3 tank) with Ed Robinson's. Back wall, another drift around the point, and final dive nearby. Great crew, great operation. Amazing vis, good marine life, would definitely recommend. Wanted...

Have her take a buoyancy class with a good instructor. It will boost her skills and she will not feel so out of control. It just might do the trick!
