I'm sorry if this is not the right place for this but, I thought vintage guys would know the answer.
Is there a place that re-chromes regulators parts? I'm not sure I want the place that re-chromes bumpers do my reg unless he has experience with regs. I'll be laid up for awhile, I tore my rotator cuff again and can't lift my right arm very high at all. I thought I'd send it out for refinishing. Thanks

Yes, you can get a link from vdh -- Vintage Double Hose .

Any plater that does motorcycle parts should be able to do it but the one that hangs on vdh is a wizard at it. Chrome plating thanks ot the EPA is becoming very difficult to have done and increasingly expensive, enough so that some have had parts powder coated instead with good success.

this is a da aqua master, and he rebuilds, or sell you the parts.

The guy who does VDH's chrome does an amazing job (to second what Luis said). He recreated an entire nonmagnetic finish for my regulator and he did it perfectly. His chrome work is second to none.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I knew I came to the right place! I'm going with VDH I'll let ya'll know how I make out. I'll take some before and after pics and post 'em.

I agree with all the comments on Dave's work. I have had 2 regulators re-chromed by him. He even saved My La Spiro Royal Mistral from the trash can. Here are some shots of his work.
