Not being a smart ass, but are there any Tech courses out there (other than GUE) that "team dynamics" are a requirement? You may already qualify for a solo card.

I am certified for deco dives down to 50m and CC rebreathers, but not for solo.
Furthermore I am a 3-stars CMAS instructor.
If I had planned to solo dive, I would take the solo class.
I think that diving solo has nothing to do with deco or rebreathers.
So Solo has nothing to do with gas planning, carrying appropriate reserves/bailout, and redundancy in nessecary equipment? Roger that.

What I mean is that for solo diving you need some other additional capability.
For example, entering and exiting water without help.
Being able to remove your scuba system and get it back on, again without help.
Do the pre-dive checkout without your buddy.
Manage an OOA event without help.
Probably the OP has already all these capabilities, but they need to be demonstrated for being certified.

Yup all stuff I did for my tech classes.

I was expecting that. But all this has not been certified for solo diving.
Tech training is usually strongly enforcing team operations, cross-checks, etc.
Solo diving is requiring a completely different approach..
So the skills are the same, but they must be available when you are alone, which is not proven by your current certification.
As said, I have quite good skills (albeit fully recreational, I am not a tech diver),
including deco, twin tanks, max certified depth 50 m and CC rebreathers, but still I do not think to be qualified as a solo diver.
So, if they ask for a solo certification for allowing you to dive solo, I agree with them.

Quite frankly, all but one of those things are basic OW skills.

Managing OOA by yourself is AOW and beyond (pony/stage).

The Solo skills minimums are more than covered in any tech class….period.

Are any of the tech certs specifically designed for solo diving rather than buddies/team, sorry I do not know.

I highly doubt it. Solo tech diving is actually officially discouraged in some circles. The SDI solo class specifically mentions solo tech diving as a bad idea. We all know it happens, though.
