FWIW, though most are scared of humans and unlike most species of sharks, alligators and crocodiles will gladly eat you.Anyone intentionally do it? I figure if there are shark dives, why aren't there any guided alligator dives? I'm sure there are some clear, diveable waters inhabited by alligators.
I've been diving with Chris Gillette in Florida. He does shark dives with us but he also does very well run, close up gator dives. The pictures are once-in-a-lifetime shots. Chris is a well known award winning and nationally published photographer. He does work for the same dive magazine that I work with also...why aren't there any guided alligator dives...
