NAUI OW diver, and downside to doing Nitrox thru PADI?

Maybe some hidden online training fee not mentioned.

I guess I'll find out, as it fits our schedule and I don't know when the next NAUI class will be or if it will fit.

Like i said, it's not really about the $, its the fact that I have been trying to do it since July and have missed the only 3 classes at the other LDS

The hidden fee was the book, but we can share one.
So in the end
$110 pp PADI
Vs
$170 pp NAUI
But the clincher was we can actually make the class date and time.

For two tanks I'd have to agree with you, 16 or 18 over three days, we can talk.

Best $110 you'll ever spend. There's nothing to the course except learning MOD cold, and plugging your EAN into your computer.
But learning the theory is fun, and anyone's card gets you the tanks you need.

Make sure they teach you Dalton's Triangle!! This is an important concept all divers need to know and can use.

that’s interesting as one of the PADI standards is each student must have their own personal set of materials. If they’re prepared to break that standard what else will they do?

At this point I don't give a $#!T.
I have seen enough at this point to know its all BS that I can/have learned on line but I gotta pay the fee to rent a tank with other than 21%

To be fair, it's not all BS, but there is enough to annoy anyone that's paying attention. Just get the ticket and move on.
