I ordered one of those. After a couple of weeks with no order status or tracking #, I emailed them and they refunded my payment and emailed me that they don't have any. Also, I think the Google search that got me there took me to a page that they said was old and should not be available anymore.

If you go directly to http://www.countycomm.com and try to find the Nitrox-17, you can only find a page for the 20mm version, in orange.

Ahh, I must have located the old page. Bad website management on their part.

Yes. I was not pleased when I had waited for 2 weeks on an order that I paid for, only to find out that same thing.

The only thing worse than not paying much and getting what you paid for, is not getting what you paid for.

I emailed the guy at Westcoastime.com a couple of months ago about his inventory and he replied that he was expecting them back in stock in a few months. So, I think maybe May. In the meantime, I just took an older strap I had and used a hot finishing nail to put holes in it all the way up the strap. I use that second strap as an extender.

I mostly dive dry, but I still used my Zulu strap with a wetsuit while down in Bonaire (so only a 3 mm). I just cinched it down nice and tight and it was fine at depth. Not sure how it would work with a thicker wetsuit suit though, since I have no experience there.

One tip for 5-ring Zulu straps that a lot of people skip: weave the strap belt-buckle style through the rings at the bottom. This way, when you cinch the strap down tightly, you don't put stress on the bottom pin. Instead, the tension goes to the bottom rings.

LOL Well, at least I got a refund. So, I paid nothing and got what I paid for... Well, except my time. I would like a refund of that, too, please.

Now that I've felt the pain of not getting immediate gratification, I will probably order a couple of Nitrox 17 straps when they are available. I do already have one and I keep it and a shorter strap in the pouch with one of my Terics. It takes seconds to switch between them when I go from diving wet to dry.

But, I already ordered 2 of the Narked@90 bungee adapters. If they work out, I think I'll be done with NATO straps for the time being.

Sounds like using the holes for the pins to run bungee chord is guaranteed to be in stock!
I wouldn't count on this. The pin that fits snugly through those holes is only 0.07 inches in diameter, so a 1/16 inch bungee is the largest that will fit through it. A 1/16 has a breaking strength of maybe 10-12 pounds. Not sure I'd trust my Teric to that.
