@ScubaWithTurk plenty of fish in the caves, they're just catfish and sunfish.... or the odd fresh water eel

getting us to dive with you is not difficult. That said, this part of the world is as good as any to learn to cave dive

Glory marker?
"txgoose made it this far and lived to tell" ?

edit: Hopefully on a line marker and not graffiti.

@txgoose who said anything about lived to tell?

for those unaware they are usually just a cookie with a name on it for someone to mark how far they've penetrated that cave. Pretty stupid IMO. Only reason to ever do that is if you're setting up for a traverse

I wasn't aware that the caves had fish. Color me shocked. I will make it there but I am currently in my "world exploration" phase and want to dive, train and teach places outside the U.S. before coming back. Although my mom does live in Florida so maybe a visit to her would be in order.

Pretty stupid IMO.

My first reaction was that it seems like a pretty harmless version of a "grafitti." Then my second reaction (with zero training, mind you) was that if I was in either a silt out or other black out, I would be pissed having to fight through a bunch of extraneous cookies that tell me nothing that I need to know. And worse case somehow mislead me. I can see the annoyance.

But then again, In a silt out, "go right at the dildo" would be helpful :D

the one that did the tagging, or the one that got tagged?

I wonder which agencies issues "Cave Tagger" certifications?
