We just got in the new Si Tech glove system that is specifically for the Oval Replaceable Wrist systems. So, if you have the oval wrist system, and haven't been happy with the dryglove options, now you have a great choice!

This takes your existing oval wrist system and makes it round, but you don't have to swap systems or have wet hands any longer! It operates just like the Glovelock, but is made to fit and adapt the oval system to round.
You can see it at the below link or by clicking HERE There is also a video at the link so you can see how it works.

So is this supposed to replace the Antares system while leaving the ring attached to the suit in place? If so, what problems does it solve?

I have the regular SiTech round rings. The self don/doff this provides and the knobbed locking ring would be nice even for the round ones. Is that variation offered ?

Once again Mike and the boys at DRiS are the best. When I ordered my drysuit a year and a half ago, I told Mike to give me the "sexy replaceable seals". I never knew what exactly I had. Looks like what I got is what is installed on the dry suit in this video, "round permanent wrist system", and works beautifully with this glove lock system.

Thanks DRiS, order incoming on your web site!

Ok DRIS maybe you can answer this I am not sure what oval rings I have on my suit. They were on my Fusion before I got it all I know is they are oval rings Is sitech the only oval rings out there? If not what should I look for to identify the rings?

Not everyone loves the Antares because it isn't always dry. This gives those with the Oval installed, another option. It takes it to round, which seems silly to me, but does allow them to not have to uninstall the oval to use a different dryglove system. I have been fighting with SI Tech for this for over a year. Why not make a better system for the oval. The oval is nice because it's streamlined, why make a glove system for it that takes away the benefits. Either way, here is the virgo

Yep! Just get the Glove Lock for the round system

You are correct, they are the ONLY Oval rings out there. They use the Si Tech rings on their suit, so you can use this Virgo Dryglove system of the Antares.

I've been diving with the Virgo for some time now, coming from Antares.
Antares works ok if you have smaller hands, for me it always has caused problems.
After changing to the round Virgo system i do not have any problems and have had dry hands ever since.
It give you the change to change the seals and have a twist and lock (bayonet) system.

Some small drawbacks:
1) Rings are larger, but does not have to be a problem for everyone
2) the lock ring comes off relatively easy (when getting into your harness of when it accedently touches the floor/ground when donning the suit.).

Nearly ANYTHING would be better than the Antares system. I switched to Antares when I bought a Waterproof dry suit, moving from a DUI w/ OS Systems dry glove rings. I have fought and cursed the Antares ever since and have rarely had a dive with dry hands. The main problem, as I see it, is that the o-rings are too small and they are too finicky about locking together. The o-rings on the OS Systems dry glove system, which is the only thing that secures the glove to the sleeve, are big, robust, and leak-proof. Before anyone asks why I don't just put the OS Systems rings on the Waterproof, let me say that I've tried but the silicon seals, which the Waterproof takes, aren't tough enough to hold the ring onto the sleeve. (You have to mount them onto the wrist seal.) I will have a set of Virgo rings on order before the day is out and have a ceremonial burning of the Antares rings once the new ones arrive.
