Hello everyone,
I have finally put together a 25 minute long clip of me servicing my personal D2 First Stage. Let's be clear about a few things on the front end:
- I did not show any of the torque wrench settings to save time for filming.
- I did not use a deep well socket on the Din connection because it is my personal regulator and will easily replace it if it gets damaged. Do not use a wrench.
- I used a heavy duty, steel pick. This is not something that you should ever do and not something I would use on a customer's regulator.
- Jabbing the diaphragm out of the first stage using "brute strength and awesomeness" is not recommended.
Only certified HOG technicians should work on HOG regulators. You should absolutely not attempt to service your own gear without proper training. Many of the things I do in this video will void your warranty. So.... have fun watching, enjoy the music, and just have fun diving
