Where do you guys keep extra stuff?

I use and Transplate with the 16lb weight pockets and when i cinch down the waist belt there is no room to add pouches.

If it were just me I wouldn't worry too much about it, but as a DM, I feel I should have things like a spare mask.

I have seen the shorts, but dont know if I like them much.

Anyone run a BP with a weight belt? Maybe then I could replace the weight pouches with pockets?

Dang it, I dont know!!!!!

I use one of these when diving wet, it's the DC Thigh Pocket further down the page. I like it, works well for me.

As the loop that goes over the waist webbing is only 2.5cm wide it should work for you.

I wear shorts with a ton of pockets. Alternatively, you could gain a bunch of weight, thus gaining room on your belt for more pockets....

The shorts are an option, in particular if you have a well-defined waist. I do not, and I find they slip (down) a bit. The new Dive Rite pocket is a much improved version of the origiinal, which I own but don't use - the pocket would slip arounf my leg and require re-positioning during the dive.

I do, I do not use integrated weights, although depending on the cylinder I may add weight pockets to the cam bands. How much weight are you carrying? If it is a minimal amount, you might get by with weights on the cylinders cam bands only.

Like Jim, I had pockets installed on my exposure suits, so I have storage for a mask, spool, writing materials and back-up cutting tool.

I use a weight belt and use an oms pouch for stuff.

My wife and I dive with X-pants. We like them, but then I'm a cargo pants kinda guy anyway. No different than having pockets put on your suit, just easier. All my safety accessories go in them - PADI sausage and spool, radio, sheers, mirror, whistle, thermos of hot coffee etc. If I dive the quarry, I leave all this on the bench....well maybe not the coffee.

Not really any good solution other than leave it on the boat or get some pockets...

I only use a weight belt but still have thigh pockets on all of my suits.

Jim - how do you do this wrt how you run a harness buckle and a weight belt buckle and your crotch strap. Seems like its a lot of buckles in a small area in front (?). Can you explain?

I use the IST divers holster. I like it a lot.

I like the shorts when I need pockets and am diving wet.

Don't like pockets on the harness. I carry my wallet and keys in my pants pocket, I don't put pockets on my shirt for that! :)

Simple, leave the extra stuff behind.

Most people use a BP/wing with a weight belt.
