I wonder how T&C Aggressor and Explorer Venture T&C II are doing. Latest track by Hurricane center shows going right over the T&C after hitting the east coast of PR tonight and tomorrow. Ponce and Rincon areas seem to be in the cross hairs.
At least they have running room,. Not like being cornered in the Bay or Honduras or some other trap.

So far this morning, it's just rainy occasionally. Not a lick of wind right now, which for Puerto Plata is almost eerily unusual.

Currently, looking out at the ocean, it's pretty calm. Just a slight swell, no wind at all...
 
It passed through here in PR last night and made a lot of noise but was not bad. Boat and house not damaged. Some blown down branches but nothing more.
 
The 11:00 looked real promising. (for us. no so good for the Carolinas)
 
Windy and Rainy here now. If the rain breaks, I may walk to a higher vantage point to get a photo of the ocean.
