I have no idea what's wrong, as I am unable to duplicate this issue myself. I see two or 3 people reporting an error out of thousands... It's extremely perplexing, and I'm sure frustraing for the two or three of you whom are having this problem.

There's atleast 5 in this thread, and I'm sure the majority of people aren't bothering to report it :p

Excuse my underestimate. At the same time. I'm doing what I can. Being rude toward me doesn't make me want to solve it faster now does it?

Odd - I am able to reproduce the "Time Warp" problem (it's just a jump to the left!) being described by some every time, but only if viewing the forum using the AOL browser, and then only when clicking on a thread name in the forum matrix (or right clicking, and opening in a new window). If I open the subforum and then open the thread, no problem. I cannot reproduce the problem using explorer. Though it might help you track it down if you could find a method to consistently reproduce it. As others have said, if you move the scroll a bit, it jumps back to center and the problem disappears.

Not complaining as I have learned too much here to EVER complain - just trying to contribute.

Ain't my board, this wasn't a problem pre-"upgrade" Why wouldn't you solve a problem produced by an upgrade you implemented? :p If you want to call my reply rude, fine, but it was only in answer to your comment that the problem is so slight that only "two or three" are affected by it - when its pretty obvious that there are more being affected.

I'm only one of very few, so you probably don't care what two or three of us are dealing with anyway right :p

Howard. On another forum they had the same issue with some users after a big update. Turns out the users were either using very old operating systems or hadn't "tossed their cookies.

Just got home and it's not doing it from the home computer.

Did you try or verify either of the above conditions?

Howard--I had no need to . Other than having that short downtime and having to reenter username/password everything just worked.

Updating browsers, Adobe, etc. is just good sense usually. A new story circulated this week about the dangers of not updating Adobe Reader. I did have an Ad-Aware update that totally killed a computer once, all files gone - but I back up often; caca happens.

I get that now and then, a few times now in the last day, but have it saved on FF.

Edit: I just noticed that I didn't have "Remember me" checked so some of that is me again. :(

Didn't check all the posts since last night and I'm already an hour past quitting time at the moment, so don't know if a screenshot has been supplied;
here is what I can tell ya Howard:
I'm using Windows XP at home and at work. IE8 both places
I first noticed the "scroll left" @ work yesterday.
When I got home it was only on a few threads and/or posts.
Today (right now) I'm seeing it on all posts and the 2 threads I viewed.
I re-boot and dump cookies daily. I would have made you a screen shot but during my earlier attempt I shot the wrong part of the screen and the file size was too big. I decided to write this instead cuz I'm hungry and have alcohol waiting after a long day.
I'll see how my PC at home is and check here tomorrow also. If I still have the issue, I'll send you a screen shot. Basically, the scroll button on the bottom of the screen is far left, small, and if I want to read all of a post or reply, I have to go to the scroll button and scroll to the right a long way. Hope this helps.:)
