I had the same screen misload that Bob mentions. It looks like the scroll is as far to the left as it can go but it isn't. I just hit the left scroll arrow and it reset just fine.

Ah thanks ... that's way better than logging off and logging back on every time I want to reply to a post.

Still a PITA ... but I'm assuming at this point that once the dust settles, it'll get fixed ...

There's always good news and bad news...

The Good News:

• This is our interim look. We got tired of waiting for the new look to convert, so Howie made this. The new look may be a month or two away still.
• This data base is far sleeker/faster and should cause us less problems. We crashed a couple of times this past week and we hope this will resolve that.
• Most of our functionality still remains. You can still post, edit and respond.
• We are up and running.
• We aren't done yet.

The Bad News:

• There will probably be only one skin.
• Some features are gone, gone and gone. Countdown timer fer instance. It's not supported at all.
• We aren't listening to your problems yet. We'll let you know when to let us know. Until then, we have too many big fires to be distracted by small fires. Sowwy, but be patient.
• We aren't done yet.

That's a useful bit of information, since it'll give people some idea as to when it'll be helpful to point out issues, as opposed to just a distraction. And how much work this migration actually takes.

I laugh at the pouty "I'm not going to post anymore"-Oh Yea, don't let the door hit you in the ass.

This is far and away the best board on SCUBA stuff. Others are just sort of love fests for some folks or very specialized.

Net Doc has developed a world wide board that connects us all. He keeps seeking improvement.

So you disagree with the fact that this forum is great because of its userbase?

Pete, I don't think the Jedi mind trick we bought is working, they seem to have noticed something is different.

Next time we need a Jedi I'd recommend we locate one someplace other than craigslist- there was something about that guy I just don't trust- he just kept muttering about Obi-Wan Ron knowing the one true path...........

Sorry no one had mentioned it before you. Color me updated.

Boot & shoot: To attempt to resolve a computer issue by rebooting computer, then trouble shooting - which may include reporting what OS (operating system) and browser (Explorer or other) one is using when the problem occurs. Clearing site cookies is a good idea too. However since it is happening to others, who knows.
