I'll be out there Saturday in the afternoon with the UCF crew and some other people, I don't know my way around the site that well but will have my scooter with me so I can cover ground fast to look for this stuff :)

That would be the complete opposite of what to do at BHB. Most of what you are looking for will only be seen when you stop, look around for a time and allow your eyes to focus on things that blend into other things

Fear not Cooltech, I've been there before :)

I just meant, I don't want to waste a lot of time looking around for the things people are telling me are there. Easier to scooter out, find it, then go back, grab the rest of the group, and show them where the stuff is. I've only spent time around a few pilings, normally when I'm there I get too focused on the tons of stuff in just a few square metres to get out much :D

It was great to meet you guys Jim, had a great dive and a nice lunch. Funny you guys picked the Brass Ring to eat at. My instructor invited our class to lunch there after our open water check out dives almost 10 years ago. Still looks the same and the burger was huge and quite filling to say the least. Nice little jog to the memory and now I know where it is again.

We enjoyed meeting and lunching/dinnering with you!! Carol and Joanne were talking about doing the bridge again next Friday, hi tide is 8:27am. Come on down, it might be that Mike could be talked into it as well!! B R again today, Carol and Joanne had big Turkey sandwiches that they liked. The critter list includes, 2 Eels in a small hole-1 a Sharptail, the other a Spotted, and a Pipefish. Nice dive. The folks at Force E said that dredging is continuing at the port and/or inlet. and viz was spotty--ranging from 10 to 25 ft.

Not tomorrow. I'll be on Sea Experience braving the now predicted 4-6's ... hmmm maybe I WILL be at the bridge. :)

I'm horrible with directions (more of a "Turn left at the house with the yellow dog" type gal). If you swim out to the boat that used to have the broken mirror and then head straight west you should hit the shopping carts before you get to the next overturned boat.

I can't believe I just wrote that.
Darn thing about your directions is we still haven't found the boat with the mirror. This is like a treasure hunt! LOL

Gibby, might see ya then. Cool beans!

HAHAHAHA!!! It's one of the boats that isn't floating!!! EDIT: and concerning treasure, my friend did find a slide to a 9mm semi-auto last weekend!!! too bad the frame was polymer and the current probably took it well down stream...

Scuba Jenny,

The grocery carts are out off the bow of the floater, Sumar. A 30 foot swim to the south southwest is the mirror wreck.

OH MY Gosh! That was funny!

You gonna be there tomorrow? Can you show us where it is?

The original suggestion was picking a 1 meter square of the backyard. BORING.. I told her I was being completely selfish and suggest a part of reef. :D She fell for it! Whoo hoo..
....now for the tides to cooperate so we can get some dives in..

Shopping carts would be the best, in my opinion, for counting critters... Best directions is look at all the boats from the beach and find the cabin cruiser (normally has a yellow kayak and a canoe roped to it). The green hulled sailboat is 20yds further out. On the starboard side thare is an upside down dinghy floating on the surface.

The shopping carts are directly below the bow of the cabin cruiser on the dinghy side... 8ft deep.
