And James, buy a truck cart. That will shorten your walk to the water to one walk.
One walk to drop tanks + walk to water after putting truck cart away = 2 in my book.

I have no opinion either way but I've seen some people that just leave the hand truck by the water instead of putting it away.

Man up and bring both tanks with one trip, you don't need a manifold to do that :)

I'm gonna need a support team for that....I don't want to get bent.

I much prefer to back my car down the boat ramp and set the tanks 5ft over to the side (in the boat) when diving SM, then motor right onto the cave :)

:mooner: Sexist! :scorned:

Moderate exercise before the dive is ok. And if you breathe them both down to 500 psi they'll be much lighter when you end the dive. Or use more helium...

Maybe you should just get a mini submersible and you can change onto, to into.

Brought home the new pair of tanks for Mike tonight. He's in the garage, admiring his babies. LP85's, with opposing valves. :D He's looking forward to diving with them, rather than his cumbersome LP 98's.

Faber LP-85 2400 +10% 85 7 Triple 26" 31 lbs 0 -6.7

Faber LP-95 2400 +10% 95 8 Triple 23.8" 37.2 lbs -1.2 -8.325

:idk: I don't get it, what makes the 85's so much less cumbersome?

He said "Man up"!

and you, mister sneaky pete, deleted your post!

Woman.

What did I delete? And Pete is this guy >>> NetDoc

12.5 lbs for one thing.

Darn it, you wrote "98"s

OMS 85 2400 +10% 85 7 Triple 26" 31 lbs 0 -6.7

OMS 98 2400 +10% 98 8 Triple 24" 38 lbs 0 -7.73

12.5 lbs for one thing.

Okay, so we're talking 14 lbs now. But is the out-of-water weight that problematic? It seems like the most important thing would be the amount of gas and the in-water characteristics.
