OK.....Just that it came from some highly reputable divers, instructors and PDRA volunteers....some day I'd like to know the true story then.....You may or not be surprised at the animosity shown whenever I hear any diver with knowledge of this recounts their version.............:)

Only two divers were really there that happened. If you really want to know true story you can PM me and I'll be happy to tell you exactly what happened.

Wish those reputable divers, instructors and PDRA volunteers would actually ask me what really happened.

... and at that point the thread lost almost all possibility of staying on track... which was the killing of lionfish in southeast Florida...

There was only one hope for the thread at that time...

Say, has anyone killed a lionfish in southeast Florida?

(small hijack...) I noticed BP is attempting to keep lionfish out of the Gulf of Mexico and the west side of Florida... (Oops)

I felt kinda bad for killing him but then again they are invading our waters and should not be here... so i felt okay about killing him

Brett, I know how you feel but next time you slay one, remember that it will kill THOUSANDS of baby fishes if you don't kill it.

You should change your user status to "Lionfish Slayer".

Hence I asked for PM conversation (not that I have anything to hide about that episode but it doesn't belong here).

I was interested about lionfish 'coz I noticed them on a dive in FL as well as here in NC but I do not carry a spear or long dive knife with me.

thanks that makes me feel much better and idk how to change it to that

If you pay to be a supporting member, you can change it yourself.

Now get back out there and save more baby fishes by killing those horrid LIONFISH cannibals!

Knife kinda just held my knife in my fist and stabbed right down on him he was wiggling on the end of my knife and then stripped his spines... thank g-d i remembered the Lionfish from taking care of fish tanks or i would never know where there spines were.
