I am hoping to get underwater this weekend, just need to find some air, LDS decided to take a week off for no apparent reason again.

Bob...I was reading about sparkles on the TDFFF....is that really an option or just for favored diver/testers?

I "accidentally" got my husband into scuba diving and he just did his OW last weekend.

I had loaned him my XXL force fin pros to use, trying to keep him away from the split fin fanatics at the LDS in the area. Turns out not only did he love them, but he wants to keep them! (I don't remember that in our marriage vows, but he says share and share alike was in there and I agreed to it!)

I dove my old L force fin pros over the weekend while he was using my other pair, and I was reminded how uncomfortable they are since they are only size L. I dove them without any heelstraps on (because they fit so tight) for 9 years and that is why I finally bought the XXL last year.

So he gave me permission to get new ones that fit me better since I needed size Xl anyway. Yahoo! I saw on your twitter feed that the TDFFF were on sale right now...but I didn't see an option for sparkles even though I read about it here. :D

Oregondiver,
Thanks for your post and support. I always recommend customers to choose the largest possible size that will fit you with a comfort instep as you never know when you might pick up drysuit diving or switch to a new boot that has a thick sole, but it sounds like you know the size you need as diving with Force Fins for 9 years will do that.

If you are interested in Sparkles please give us a call at 1.800.346.7946 or email at forcefin@forcefin.com and we can talk about your request for Sparkled Force Fins.
If you are interested in the Flying Force Fin you are are very fortunate as yesterday Bob confirmed that the Flying Force will never be a part of our 30 30 30 program again.
Look forward to hearing from you and talking about your request.

Thanks for the reply. I just talked to FF (I guess you arent' in yet! ha ha!). She said that I could get the sparkles for about a $25 upcharge.

Now I just need to chat with the husband about what color I wanted (so when we go warm water, he will end up wearing my pair and there are certain colors he will refuse to wear!)

I already used the comfort instep in my XXL's and I would use move it to the other fins when we head somewhere warm....

Next month we are driving from Portland Oregon to Monterey and Long Beach for a whitewater kayak surfing and scuba diving trip. Taking him out on the Magician for day diving at Catalina. :) So it will just be a matter of how long they take to ship once we finally place the order to see if I get them in time for our road trip.

oregondiver, Please visit our headquarters, on your way South. Always great meeting Force Fin users. Plus I will fit you with our cool cap. Best, Bob

I was looking over some photos and I came across this one taken offshore while I was working on mooring cans for the crew boats in my area.

I looked twice to see the water that I was pushing behind me with my Flying Force Fins and thought, that is not prop wash, that is the result of the rebound and snap I get from the Tan Delta material. Really liking the response of this fin in the Tan Delta material and as I am a long time Flying Force Fin user in the Original Polyurethane I can say this is now coming close to being my all around favorite fin.

Teem,
Bob thought he would keep No. 100 for himself, then I thought I would like to buy them and now they are going to you! We both are happy that you are getting No. 100 and look forward to hearing about your Force Fin Experience with your Flying Force Fins. Thanks for all your support!
