After owning my Pro Force Fins for many years I found recently that the bungee straps started coming off my wetsuit boots during a dive. When trying to adjust the bungee length I've found that the material around one of the holes where the mounting bracket is attached has weakened so that it is possible to push the bracket washer partly through the hole. It is, therefore, time to buy a new pair of Pro Force Fins.

I haven't been able to find a stockist in the UK and on the Force Fins website they are out of stock. I have filled in the form to express interest and Susanne has responded to say she will let me know when they have a production scheduled but no estimate of when that might be.

I won't need my fins for another year since I've just got back from Indonesia, but being impatient I'm anxious to know if I will have new Force Fins or if I need to start looking for completely different fins, which I'm not keen on.

Just wondering if anyone has knowledge of when production of the Pro will start?

No more distributor of Force Fins in the UE, as Bill Evans himself told on this forum.
I even think he has stopped the production. Maybe he will come to talk about it.

In the Uk, i have no idea, but when i bought mine, back in 2015, it was on a uk website, at that time it was possible...

Ebay is best bet at this time. Or make your own. bungie straps.

Not sure how secure my own bungee straps will be since the material around one of the holes is already weakened.

I'm hoping to get a new pair that will last me many years.

This is the situation. We have developed a community of smart divers who know the best. Millions, and we love you all. Susanne and I have plans to which we can gear back up. In better times for US manufacture, we had more than 600 dealers in the US, and distributed in 17 companies. Our cost to manufacture has eliminated the margin for other than direct sales. We now pay over $200 to manufacture each pair of fins. Although many of you do and will pay more than $400 per pair for the best, and Force Fins are the best for many reasons, Susanne and I don't see our future aligned with maintaining inventory at this time. We are toying with gathering together a few hundred pair pre-ordered, and making limited production runs. If interested, send an email with subject line "I WANT FORCE FINS," with the size, model and your contact information. Susanne will get back to you when/if we schedule the production run. Love to all, Bob Evans

In the meantime you can always drill new 1/4 in holes in front of the existing ones and thread the bungee through these holes. This way you can diy some new mounting options.

Back in the day of all the dealers in the US, I bought a pair of blue Pro Force Fins from one of the online retailers (scuba.com ?) for around $65. I will have to dive them again one of these days on one of my visits to Florida.

Not our fins. Maybe a used pair.
