Great news!!!!!!!!! :)

please remember that speculation frequently races away from reality.

Best wishes Carrie. I am thankful that things turned out as well as they did.

I agree completely.

I'm sure Carrie is spending some time with her family/daughter.

We shouldn't rush to conclusions about what happened. This is now a private family matter and we all should give them them privacy to determine what to do on their own....

Hmmm, I wonder what she will think of Mom using Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking tools in this endeavor.

Cool Mom. Cool board.

I know now what tools I will use if this ever happens with me and my kid.

......well, employers have been using social networks to do background checks on prospective new hires for a while now......just an FYI

I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't part of the recovery plan..

...this cryptic remark makes it sound as if there WAS at least an element of 'runaway' involved here...versus a complete 100% pure kidnapping situation...in which case, the local police, who chalked the original disappearance to being just a 'runaway' are maybe owed something of an apology....what's more worrisome here, is if this goes down as either wholly or at least in part as a subsequent runnaway situation, if anything were to ever happen to this kid yet again......the police might be enormously skeptical of future foulplay...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me....also, don't think it isn't possible some sicko out there can't actually 'shop' for future victims by looking for habitual runnaway kids to prey upon...knowing if he/she goes after them, it will be a while before their disappearance will be treated seriously by anybody.

Why are we even trying to guess what actually happened? Carrie will eventually come on and tell us what if anything she thinks we should know. Besides, runaways may soon find themselves in over their heads and in just as much danger as abductees.

Ashley was found at approximately midnight last night. She was not a runaway. At this time I cannot post any information to the circumstances of her disappearance. There are other missing children with no leads. It was only due to the diligence of my friends, numerous SB members, several key police officers, everyone's prayers, and assistance from the local newsmedia that we were able to recover my daugher.
When I am able I will post what happened to Ashley.
I cannot thank everyone enough for their assistance and support.

Peppermintpaddi - Who contacted every law enforcement office, numerous tv stations and radio stations, and explored every possible means for assistance. She was instrumental in helping me find ways to get additional assistance.

laguna230diver Who created the facebook page. This page was huge. It gained the attention of other agencies that I cannot name who provided assistance.|

Nan Bennett - Who spent numerous hours helping hang fliers.

TexasTorpedo- Who hung fliers and was a bulldog helping us knock on doors finding additional leads, plus numerous other things I cannot expound on at the time.

TexasTorpeda's GF Amanda - Who helped hang fliers and drove David around doing what needed to be done.

MRHamm - who has been with me non-stop for the last 48 hours doing whatever was needed.

Corp Oster, Copperas Cove police dept, who dligently followed up on every lead and was key in finding my daughter.

SGT Martin Zeller, Copperas Cove police dept, who made this investigation a top priority.

Officer Mallow, Killeen police dept - who actually found my daughter.

The Killeen police night patrol who immediately came to our assistance when we asked for help from them Friday night.

Jade Mingus, NBC news reporter - who helped put this case into the public's spotlight.

Every SB member who emailed/called the police dept and mayors office.
