Dead Thread Walking!

I guess you've been "holding it" for 3.5 years!

It's been said but I'll say it again, urine is sterile. It's probably less harmful to you than the ocean you are swimming in (and certainly the lake.) And it comes in real handy if you tangle with a jellyfish. Think of it as a vaccination!

If you are gonna pee in your wetsuit, those of us that work on the boat (and your fellow passengers) would like to request that you remove and rinse your wetsuit before getting back on the boat.

:d

Sterile or not, my "boat crew" job description doesn't include mopping up your pee at the end of the day!

:shakehead:

:talktothehand::pinocchio:OOOOOoo pee in my wet suit? Then that would mix with all that fish pee and poop and god knows what else we dive in.:shakehead::snorkel:

no peing in wet suit for me, i prefer to run the closest isolated bush or chemical toilet! Come to think of itthat seems just as bad tho...

I didn't for the first six months or so, had some kind of complex about it. But now I go if I need to (which often as I do long dives...), I just don't pee close to when I am about to get out of the water

I have a p-valve in my drysuit as well. Looks like drysuit diving has improved a lot for women since 2006! :) >

Perhaps I should consider depends while diving dry.

Is this something that women can do while diving dry?

I was wondering the other day what they can do since obviously the condom cathader and pee valve wouldnt work. And I am sure that the pain of having to pee really bad is not worse then a internal cathader.. :11:

Mopping up pee? I thought you hosed down the decks.

If you don't pee in your wet suit, you have some serious emotional problems.

I even pee in my dry suit.

Speaking of, anyone see the lastest South Park episode about pee?

Yes. :vomit:

I just haven't brought myself to pee in the wetsuit yet. But, I haven't been diving long either. I'm sure it will happen one day, but as long as I can hold off I will.
